Six Papers under UPSR 2016

There will be six papers under 2016 Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah
(UPSR) of which English to be separated into two papers. Examination
Board director Nawal Salleh said pupils would be graded in comprehension
and writing for the English subject. "Previously English is only being
graded in one paper, which has both comprehension and writing
components.
"Starting next year, we have separated it into two papers," she told reporters today. Nawal added the comprehension paper would also have subjective questions which required pupils to provide the answers. For the past years, she said the comprehension section had only objective questions.
For those in the Vernacular schools, Nawal said, the Chinese and Tamil subjects would also be split into two papers just like the English and Bahasa Melayu papers. Details of the new UPSR format could be viewed in the examination board website at www.lp.edu.my starting today, she added.
